It has been hand painted with Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis Paint ~ Black Color, sanded, glazed and sealed to last for years. There is a router spot in the back for hanging. We use only pine wood that has some imperfections such as dings and dents, so no 2 signs are alike. Everyone we sell is unique and that's what our customers enjoy.
