He recorded primarily for Blue Note between 1952 and 1980, resulting in more than 25 album releases. Presented here is Horace Silver's fourth LP, Silver's Blue, taped for the Epic label during two sessions in 1956, which followed three earlier sessions he had already recorded for Blue Note.
