The Gel Kayano 14 p_____a is inspired by a beetle from the Amazon Rainforest whose characteristic iridescent green color is created by the photonic crystal structure of its scales. This effect is reinterpreted in the materials of this version of the GEL Kayano 14, bringing to the spotlight the properties of a small creature whose properties could lead to the development of new optic technologies.
