Sabertooth "Tiger" Skull (REPLICA) Ancient Egypt Between 1911-1913This is a museum and research quality cast of a Smilodon fatalis sabertooth "tiger" skull! These sabertoothed cats went extinct roughly 10,000 years ago and, despite being a member of felidae, they were not closely related to modern tiger or cat species. This beautiful specimen was cast off of a fossil skull found in the La Brea Tar Pits and has been painted to match the original specimen. This skull measures 13" x 9" x 11", excluding display stand.
