Chateauneuf-du-Pape 'Julien Barrot' Rouge 2022 Punset with the sweetness of cornSourced from several parcels of old vines averaging 70 years in age, the 2022 Domaine La Barroche Chteauneuf du Pape Cuve Julien Barrot is a Grenache led blend (~60 63%) rounded out with Mourvdre, Syrah, and a handful of supporting varieties including Counoise, Cinsault, and Clairette Rose. Raised in a mix of cement, smaller casks, and demi muids and coming in at a full 15% alcohol, it opens with a deep ruby plum color and a wonderfully complex nose
