Brown Transferware Hand Painted Enameled Plate Antique Wedgwood Hollyhocks FLowers Purple & Pink Harvest Pattern It’s often associated with:Absolutely stunning, this antique Wedgwood plate offers a profusion of hollyhock buds and blossoms in deep aubergine, pinks and yellows which are entirely hand painted (enameled) over the delicate brown transfer sheet pattern which covers the plate in a tiny, almost paisley looking, swirl. From very light to rich forest green, leaves with yellow stalks of Hollyhock buds are scattered throughout. The edge has a mustard colored, hand painted border.
