This security strike is designed to replace standard (separately mounted) strike plates for a maximum security combo strike plate. Installation of this strike strengthens a locked door with six 3 in. long screws that attach to the jack trimmer stud to help prevent kick ins. Some mortising and pilot hole drilling may be required
