Vintage Rock Crystal Owl Pendant opal FriendshipDATE: Vintage, c. 1970 Cute owl pendant carved from a solid piece of rock crystal, with a silver bail, circa 1970. The owl has been carved into the rock, using a technique called reverse crystal intaglio. This gives the effect of 3D on the reverse. Small hand carved details give the effect of feathers, eyes and a beak. The eyes of the owl show two small orange painted dots.
