The Pagliaro vineyard is 1,300 feet above sea level, and contributes an ever lasting acidity to the already powerful Sagrantino grape. The wine sees a 40 50 day maceration, and then is aged for 1 year in stainless steel, followed by 2 years in large oak, finally resting for one more year in bottle.
